Notification of Closure

Dear TechShop Members,

 

We regret to announce that, for various reasons, TechShop will be ceasing operation after 29th February 2020.
Our mission was to create a space where you could make your creative dreams a reality. To all of you who joined us and shared in this idea, we are so sorry to let you down now. But we are truly grateful to each of you who have supported us since we first opened in April 2016. It has been a privilege to get to know you all and to see your ideas flourish.

Due to TechShop’s closure, our business hours will be changing.
We will also be offering refunds in certain circumstances, so please read the following carefully.

 

▢ Changes to our Business Hours
・Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 – 21:00  → 10:00 –  23:00
・Last Business Day: 29th February 2020 (Saturday)

 

▢ About Refunds
We will be offering refunds as below, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
For each service, we will offer refunds for any unusable period which has already been paid for:
・Refunds will be offered for unused tickets which we can confirm have not expired (refunds will be provided in cash from the Front Desk once the tickets have been checked for validity)
・Refunds will be offered for the unused period of annual memberships.
・Refunds will be offered for storage allocations which have been paid for beyond our closing date.
・Refunds will be offered for any SBUs taken between 1st – 31st January 2020
(For all refunds, please inquire at the Front Desk. Refunds will be paid in cash)

 

▢ About SBUs in February 2020
・If you choose to cancel an SBU booked for February, a refund will be provided.
・If you choose to take an SBU in February, a refund cannot be provided for this class. Classes in February are being conducted on the understanding that you are aware of TechShop’s closure.
・We will no longer accept applications for private classes.
